Amy's been in the industry for thirteen fabulous years. Immediately after finishing school at Continental School of Beauty Culture in 1998, she started working at a small, family owned salon in Olean, NY. The salon had a branch at a university in the area, so Amy headed off to "college". Oddly enough, the experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity. She had a chance to learn, and grow in a fun, young environment, and master men's cutting. The next stop on the success ladder was the Regis Corporation, as a stylist for Regis Hairstylists. Moving up to Master Stylist in less than two years created a bright future for Amy. Regis gave Amy so much education, and such a great foundation for all future, and also a management position for a short time. In 2003, Amy decided she was ready to "give back". Being such a successful stylist, she wanted to teach students what she'd learned in the industry, and what better way than to teach at the school that started her success story. Amy is a single mom well known in her community as a leader and a teacher. In September she will have been teaching for seven years, and what better way to celebrate than to add Milady educator to her resume. BACK TO TOP |
